Community Medicine and Public Health Initiatives

The department is committed to promoting health and wellness within the community through various outreach initiatives. One of our key programs, the Family Adoption Program, allows students and faculty to engage directly with families in need, providing regular healthcare guidance and support to improve community health outcomes.

In addition, the department actively raises health awareness by organizing community health camps, which offer free check-ups and medical advice to underserved populations. Our outreach efforts also include educational activities such as nukkad natak (street plays) that convey important health messages in an accessible and engaging format, fostering a culture of health awareness and preventive care in the community.
